Race 1

Looks to have good pace engaged in this one. Expecting QUEEN BRITANNA to lead all comers in this one. 

MAITH AN CAILIN has genuine early speed, a winning chance. PRIYA'S TREASURE first starter and untrialled, for the exotics. DAME COLLEEN capable of racing on speed, outside hope. IMPRESSION capable of racing on speed, for the wider exotics.

Race 2

Stand-out between the top three picks. BANHA BRIDGE has won at Vaal and placed in all other attempts this campaign, a close top pick. AFRAAD has plenty of early speed and a likely leader, for the wider exotics. CAPTAIN CHORUS back from let-up and generally strong first-up placing at Turffontein last attempt, capable of getting into the money with a bit of luck. EARL capable of racing on speed and both wins have come in the dry, for the exotics.

Race 3

Hard to gauge given the number of first starters.  REAL RELIEF on debut and untrialled, don't treat lightly. GALLADORN on debut and untrialled, don't dismiss. BOM BOM first start and racing without trial, has solid claims. OPEN HIGHWAY first starter and has not trialed, not without each-way claims.

Tip: 9 , 4 , 2 , 7

Race 4

Hard to assess with minimal form to go by. CALLMEWHENUNEEDME yet to miss the placegetters in two runs, could threaten. WINTER PATH on debut and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw, a winning chance.  WUGUG first starter and untrialled, in with a chance. CHROME TOURMALINE first starter and has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier, not without each-way claims.

Race 5

Anticipating this to be run genuine tempo. NGOKUSHESHA will be hard to beat in this truly run race. PUERTO PLATA let-up and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw, looks threatening. HAZLO GRANDE in the money at only start running second at Turffontein and should find the lead easily having drawn well, sneaky chance. SWORD OF MERCY back after 19 week break and ran 16 lengths back from the winner at only start at Turffontein, genuine contender.

Race 6

Solid pace expected in this one. INVINCIBLE WARRIOR resumes from a spell of 53 weeks and resumes well, if in the finish no surprise. LILLIANA  also expected to push up for a top finish. CRIMSON KING let-up. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader, genuine contender. RAPTOR ISLAND back from eight week let-up and looks the leader, dangerous.

Race 7

Anticipating this to be run genuine tempo. BLACK EGRET has won or placed in all races to date and won last start to break maiden at Vaal, strong chance. GOLDEN SPOON has plenty of early speed and a likely leader, capable of getting into the money. VITELLIUS has won or placed in all three races so far and looks the leader, chance to place. BRIGHT BLUE SKY resumes from a 15 week spell and coming off a win to break maiden at Turffontein, commands respect.

Race 8

Looking for best value in the top four picks. WESTERN WISHES and LAETITIA'S ANGEL expected to battle it out for the win in this one. SAMOA has genuine early speed and all five wins have come in the dry, a close top pick. TRE AMICI expect to lead/box seat with a favourable draw, strong place chance.
