Race 1

Hard to gauge given the number of first starters. AFRICAN BEAT capable of racing on speed and has two placings from four runs this prep, still in this. MAURITANIA on debut and untrialled, a winning chance. KOMESHAN LOGAN on debut and has not trialled, don't treat lightly. FORESHORE back from let-up and ran 15th at only start at Kenilworth, could threaten.

Race 2

Market best guide for first starters. Will be a tightly run race between ERROLS LEGACY and BOMBER GIRL with both expected to run a tightly run race, hard to separate these two. BITCOIN BABY will be the next best and will be pushing hard for a place. ACCUMULATE first starter and racing without trial, each-way claims.

Tip: 4 , 11 , 6 , 7

Race 3

Can't split the top three selections. KUMEMORI amongst the placegetters at only start running second at Scottsville, expect to be right up there. NEITHERHERENORTHER first starter and untrialled, has solid claims.  THE NOAH first start and racing without trial, dangerous. BENNI IN THE AREA back from let-up and has a lot of early speed, commands respect.

Race 4

A number of horses will look to battle it out for the early lead. CALL TO GLORY finished a length back from the leader last start at Turffontein when first up and drawn perfectly, expect to push early in this one. FAIZAH resumes from a 32 week spell and placed at only start at Greyville, each-way claims. THEAPPLEOFMYEYE first start and racing without trial, a winning chance.  TEMPELHOFF resumes from a long 51 week spell and has a lot of early speed, sneaky chance.

Race 5

Not a lot between the top three in this. QUEUE WING looks the leader and four from six wins have been in the dry, genuine chance. TWICE GOLDEN has genuine early speed and a track specialist winning five times at Scottsville, a close top pick. REX UNION back from let-up and has a lot of early speed, consider in exotics. RICCARDO winner of last two at Scottsville and won last start at the track, for the exotics.

Value Pick: Queue Wing (3)

Race 6

Solid pace expected in this one but a tough one to pick. MACARA has a lot of early speed and goes well at Scottsville, the real danger in the race. AQUAE SULIS looks the leader and all six wins have come in the dry, in with a chance. QUEEN OF SHADOWS looks the leader and all wins have come when faced with dry ground, capable of getting into the money. SUPREME QUEST capable of racing on speed and all three wins have come in the dry, hard to go past.

Race 7

Looks to have good pace engaged in this one. SILVANO'S TIMER resumes after a spell of 14 weeks. Resumes well and won at Durbanville when last first-up. INDLAMU looks the leader early and has placed in two attempts this campaign, well placed. FLYING BULL first-up after 46 week spell and has genuine early speed, include in exotics. SENSO UNICO let-up for 11 weeks and capable of racing on speed, outside hope. 

Tip: 3 , 5 , 4 , 6

Race 8

Appears there are four genuine chances in this one and very hard to separate. SEA VISTA has genuine claims in this one and has the pace to separate from the field. PHILISPIEL let-up and has outstanding form at this track, hard to hold out. TRADE WAR coming off a win at Scottsville, if in the finish no surprise. BLESS ME FRED will push all comers and would be no surprise if placed.

Race 9

Expecting a solid tempo early in the race. LADY HEIST should lead the pack early in this one and has the finishing pace to hold them off. REEFWAY expected to run a good race with a favourable barrier in this one, expect to push up early and settle well. AMARANDI has the speed to overcome a poor barrier but needs a strong start to ensure a good finish. VALERIAS DREAM coming off a win at Greyville. Has plenty of early speed and not without each-way claims.
