Monday March 27 - Greyville Tips and Analysis

Race 1

Looks a toss up between the top two selections. COTTON RON at slightly longer odds has great value to offer and will run strongly in this one. BROSNAN let-up for six weeks and has genuine early speed, each-way claims. FISH EAGLE has plenty of early speed and a likely leader, commands respect. IRON MONGER first start and racing without trial, in the mix.

Race 2

Expecting a solid tempo early in the race. SKY VELOCITY capable of racing on speed, will be very hard to beat in this one. FIELDS OF GREEN has genuine early speed, will be a likely place getter. QUEEN JACKSON has plenty of early speed and a likely leader, for the exotics. WHAT A PIDDY back from seven week let-up and finished midfield last start at Scottsville, consider in exotics.

Race 3

Anticipating this to be run genuine tempo. MAXIUMUS has a lot of early speed and K De Melo a bonus, hard to go past. MR PIGALLE capable of racing on speed and won once this prep at Greyville seven runs back, looks threatening. RALPH THE RASCAL has a lot of early speed, don't treat lightly.  GRIMALDI has genuine early speed and in strong form with two wins from 11 attempts this campaign, each-way claims.

Race 4

Anticipating a truly run race so don’t rule out backmarkers. ZAKHO has plenty of early speed and a likely leader, cannot be ruled out. LUCRETIUS has genuine early speed and has two placings from three runs this prep, looks threatening. CORSICAN back from eight week let-up and last start winner to break maiden at Greyville, in with a chance. INGAKARA back from seven week let-up. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader, don’t rule out for a place.

Race 5

It looks as though the top three selections will fight this out. BAY BREEZE has a lot of early speed, consider. FASHIONIGMA has plenty of early speed and a likely leader, hard to hold out. RECKLESS LOVE has plenty of early speed and a likely leader, if in the finish no surprise. RED ROSA looks the leader and Siphesihle Hlengwa has had success aboard previously, a close top selection.

Race 6

Anticipating a truly run race so don’t rule out backmarkers. ROYAL KITTY let-up for 11 weeks and has genuine early speed, has solid claims. BIRDWATCHER has plenty of early speed and a likely leader, could upset. HATTA capable of racing on speed, not without each-way claims. SKY CAFE back from let-up and generally strong first-up placing at Greyville last attempt, each-way claims.

Race 7

Expecting a solid tempo early in the race. LESLIES PATHTOFAME only just missed last start, finishing a nose back from the winner at Greyville when first up and capable of racing on speed, the real danger in the race. PREEMPTIVE STRIKE back from let-up and has a lot of early speed, in with a chance. AGRESSIVO capable of racing on speed, place best. QUICK STAR resumes from a 23 week spell and winner of one when first-up including ran second at Greyville last go, major contender.
